1 dead after crash involving bike, box truck in Kent
KENT, Wash. - Police are investigating a deadly crash Wednesday morning involving a bike and a box truck in Kent.
The crash happened before 5:45 a.m. near Southeast 272nd Street and 132nd Avenue Southeast.
Kent police told FOX 13 at the scene that the driver of the truck a 41-year-old Covington man, was on a standard delivery route when he didn't see the bicyclist and hit him. The driver has been cooperating with police.
The cyclist has not yet been identified. Police said he was an adult man.
The roadway was closed for the investigation.
