2 injured in I-5 crash in Downtown Seattle

Troopers are investigating what led up to a crash early Thursday morning on I-5 in Downtown Seattle.

Before 5 a.m., crews responded to a report of a two-car crash in the northbound lanes of I-5, south of the Seneca Street exit. 

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, southbound I-5 express lanes were delayed in opening due to the crash.

The crash was cleared at about 7:30 a.m.

Seattle Fire officials told FOX 13 that two people were taken to Harborview Medical Center – a 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old man.
